Free-Range Chicken

Our free-range chickens are offered only a few times per year.  Our pastured chickens graze on plants and insects right alongside our cattle and pigs, on land that is carefully managed for sustainability.  

Our farming philosophy is to farm in a way that continues to improve the land and waterways. In fact, for our customers who remember requesting that we sell chicken for years before we started to offer it: We started raising chicken because we saw that the land could benefit from their manure.  Everything that we do on our farm is to make the land better, healthier, supporting more diverse life. Raising chickens helps us do that, and your family gets to benefit from astonishingly delicious chicken.

 The flavor is incredible: Be warned that if you try one of these chickens, you'll never go back to mushy, flavorless supermarket birds again.  We don't raise many, so you'll want to reserve yours before we sell out.
